Susan J. Snapp  LCSW

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Illinois. I received my MSW at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 1975 and an MA in Social Anthropology at the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1985 (for cultural competence training as a therapist).

I have many years of experience doing psychotherapy, including 22 years at the University of Chicago Student Counseling Service.

My goal, as a therapist, is to provide a safe, comfortable, private space where you can talk about your concerns. I listen carefully to your story, looking for clues about what contributes to your unhappiness and I am always thinking about how to use what you tell me to find solutions to the problems that trouble you.
